WIPP National Partner offers thoughts about leveraging certification for woman owned businesses at continuing education event in Atlanta

ATLANTA, GA, May 12, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Cadence Group , an information and records management firm based in Atlanta and Washington D.C., is pleased to announce that CEO Tina Baker will be speaking at the PACE (Personal Achievement through Continuous Education) event on May 11, 2011. The event is hosted by the Greater Women Business Council and will be held at Georgia Power: A Southern Company.

The event will begin at 9:00 a.m. with a session on how to obtain and maximize Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WEBNC) Certification. This will be a unique opportunity for women business owners to learn about the value of becoming certified. The second session will be a lunch and learn starting at 11:30 a.m. and will focus on leveraging women owned certifications for government services opportunities. They will cover the new Women-Owned Small Business Procurement Program (WIPP) and the Give Me 5 educational program sponsored by Women Impacting Public Policy and American Express Open. The WSOB program significantly impacts how women owned small businesses can leverage certifications to gain a competitive advantage.
