SURREY, BC, CANADA, November 5, 2011 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Stanford Who's Who announces the addition of Baljit Gill to the distinguished ranks of leading professionals as a result of her exceptional effort in company management. As CEO of Northcrest Forest Products, as well as throughout her phenomenal professional career, Baljit has consistently displayed the passion and perseverance necessary to be successful in the business world.

Northcrest Forest Products is a company which works closely with their mill partners to provide premium forest products at competitive rates. The company is involved in the export of North American softwoods and hardwoods into global markets, with their main markets being in China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, and Panama.

Northcrest is an active participant of the Council of Forest Industries, North American Wholesale Lumber Association, International Forest Products Transportation Association, BC Wood, and the Surrey Board of Trade. The company now has a consortium of 8 mills and they have just signed an option for bio-mass to produce bio-energy.

Baljit is responsible for managing all major aspects of the company as well as overseeing all projects and transactions. She has been working in the industry since 1991. In 2004, Baljit acquired a saw mill which was then sold in 2009. While she owned that mill, she took an innovative approach by putting 95% of the company's focus on exporting wood.

During her collegiate career, she earned a Bachelor's degree in Communications from Douglas College. Baljit is a member of Art of Living and Women Empowering Women. In addition, she was the winner of the 2008 Businesswoman of the Year across Canada and was nominated to Canada's Top 100.
