As a marketing professional, Ms. Degan has handled product launches for Ronzoni and planned events for Beyonce and P. Diddy. However, in addition to working with brand name companies and high-profile celebrities, she does not shy away from smaller projects such as creating brochures for doctors. Ms. Degan's 25 years of broadcasting, advertising, and marketing experience contribute to the success of her integrated marketing communications firm, Diana Degan & Associates (formerly known as Diana Robinson & Associates). As president, Ms. Degan oversees strategy development and creative execution, implements public relations programs, introduces people, companies and products to the media, and handles a variety of responsibilities to aid the seamless operation of her company, as she achieves the business goals of her clients. Ms. Degan ventured into marketing communications through her education in broadcasting and print journalism. In 1987, she earned a Bachelor of Applied Arts in journalism from Ryerson University. An Accredited Business Communicator, she also holds a Certified Advertising Agency Practitioner designation from the Institute of Canadian Advertising. Her professional affiliations include the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC); she also serves as a chairwoman of the gala committee and public relations committee of her local Habitat for Humanity's Women Build.
