/Women in Business News Articles/ -- NOVATO, CA, May 12, 2010, Lieselotte Anke, President of ANKEdesign, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in architectural design and planning.

A love for problem-solving and an eye for aesthetics drove Ms. Anke to embark on a 26-year career in design. A licensed architect in the states of California, Florida, Illinois and Nevada, she serves as the president of ANKEdesign. She is known for her systematic approach to planning and meticulous attention to detail. Her innovative and collaborative approach has allowed her to create luxurious buildings and interiors for both commercial and residential purposes — her most recent projects being the construction of the One Thousand Ocean resort and The London West Hollywood hotel.

In March 2010, Ms. Anke took on the additional role of senior vice president with the Hyatt Corporation. She is responsible for the architecture and design of multiple hotels in North America, Europe and the Caribbean. Excited for the opportunity to participate in new projects, she owes her success to her hard work and passion.

The recipient of a Fulbright Scholarship, Ms. Anke holds a Master of City and Regional Planning and a Bachelor of Architecture from the Illinois Institute of Technology. She is a member of the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards and The American Institute of Architects.
