LONE ROCK, IA, May 6, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Traci Ries, Owner and Artist at Bead Artista, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in jewelry making.

A nurse for the past 16 years, Ms. Ries is happy to finally have the wherewithal to run her own company. She switches gears with Bead Artista, a sole proprietorship through which she creates custom-designed beadwork and crocheted jewelry. An artist and entrepreneur, she meets with clients, designs and creates jewelry according to specifications, markets her work, and participates in exhibitions. Since going into business for herself in 2002, Ms. Ries has sold custom pieces to various clients and consigned some of her jewelry to The Market, a popular retailer in Algona, Iowa. She is gratified to have made a lucrative business out of a favorite hobby, and attributes her success to her hard work, determination and personal drive.

Ms. Ries received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Morningside College. She intends to continue in nursing at the same time that she expands her new business.
