Mercy Health is a Catholic community benefit organization founded by the Sisters of Mercy to deliver health, aged care and community services. They care for nearly half a million people a year across Victoria, southern New South Wales, and the Australian Capital Territory, providing acute and sub-acute hospital care, aged care, mental health programs, specialist women's healthcare, early parenting support, palliative care, home and community care, and health worker training and development.
Kate possesses extensive expertise in the areas of change management and diversity. During her collegiate career, she earned a Master's degree in Human Resources and Industrial Relations from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology. Kate serves as a Board Member of the Diversity Council of Australia. She is also a member of the Australian Human Resources Institute. Kate was the recipient of a Diversity Leader for the Advancement of Women award in 2010.
