Ms. West lends her expertise in small-business management and tax preparation to her clients by creating customized solutions for individuals, small businesses, corporations and partnerships. She prepares taxes, conducts tax research and tax planning initiatives, and represents her clients for audits and taxation matters. She prepares accounting and payroll services, and markets through websites, advertisements and word-of-mouth. Her firm specializes in accounting, tax preparation, problem resolution, tax minimization and tax planning.

Ms. West attended H&R Block's income tax school and became a tax preparer for H&R Block. During her employment there, she earned the enrolled agent designation, taught tax school, trained new hire tax preparers, opened a new location for the company, and managed a local tax preparation office before moving out of state.

She feels that she has been able to achieve her professional goals due to her determination, self-motivation and ability to tailor her services to meet the specific needs of her clients. She became involved in her profession after discovering that accounting came naturally to her; she gained experience managing the books and preparing all the tax returns, focusing on sales and income taxes, for her husband's business in two states. Ms. West says that the highlight of her career was earning the enrolled agent designation. She also received the Five-Star Performance Award from HRB Digital LLC for her efforts and passion for her work.

Ms. West completed coursework in computer science at Daytona State College after earning a diploma at Palmyra-Macedon Senior High School. She is an Enrolled Agent representing taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service, an Accredited Tax Adviser through The Accreditation Council for Accountancy and Taxation, and an Accredited Retirement Adviser. She holds memberships to the Camrock Women's Network, Maine Business Connection, Enrolled Agents of America, SocialCPAs and National Society of Accountants.
