Barbara is a multi-talented individual who has worked as an actress, author, producer, arts promoter, and entrepreneur. She has worked in Brazil and Canada in numerous theater plays, films, TV commercials, videos, and voice-over productions. Barbara was also nominated for 'Best Supporting Actress' by the Sao Paulo Association of Play Producers for her role in the Farse of the Dragon's Head by Ramon del Valle Inclan. In addition, she wrote the plays Cut & Fried and Breasts. During her collegiate career, Barbara earned a Master's degree in Drama from the School of Dramatic Arts at the University of Sao Paulo.
