Margie H. Davis has been accepted among the prestigious ranks of Stanford Who's Who as a result of her remarkable professional career.

GRAND HAVEN, MI, September 10, 2011 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Margie H. Davis has been accepted among the prestigious ranks of Stanford Who's Who as a result of her remarkable professional career. As President of the Lakeshore Parrot Haven Sanctuary, as well as throughout her brilliant career, Margie has consistently displayed the passion, vision and dedication necessary to be considered among the best.

The Lakeshore Parrot Haven Sanctuary is a bird sanctuary that provides homes for parrots that are smuggled in to the country and offers free programs to educate others on the environment and its inhabitants. In addition to running the sanctuary, Margie is involved in aviculture; gardening; traveling into the South and Central American rain forests to learn and live with the natural environment and its native people; supporting a Yagua Indian school in Amazonia Peru; reading and continuing her education of the areas of her life of which she is passionate. During her collegiate career, Margie earned a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Master of Arts degree.
