It is designed as a rescue program designated to help home owners affected by weather related natural disasters. When natural disasters occur, hundreds and thousands of people are affected. Catastrophic storms, such as hurricanes, floods, and tornados can cause extensive and severe damage especially to your roof. Should a home owner face the unfortunate situation when disaster strikes, they can count on Timberline Roofing, LLC to pull together as a team to help restore or rebuild the home owner's roofing system.

Operation Blue Tarp is opening to residents of Northeast Georgia & Upstate South Carolina. Owners of Timberline Roofing say the program will expand to other counties in the Metro Atlanta and Northwest Georgia area soon. Managed by Timberline, the program provides free installation of a cover tarp on homes with roof damage. The roof must have less than 50 percent structural damage to be eligible for the program. Home owners should call (678) 649-8065 to request the service. Calls to the number may get only a recorded message. Home owners are encouraged to leave a message and Timberline Roofing will respond to the request anytime night or day following a catastrophe.

The initial counties now under the blue roof program are Banks, Dawson, Elbert, Fannin, Franklin, Forsyth, Gilmer, Hall, Heart, Habersham, Lumpkin, Rabun, Pickens, Stephens, Union, Towns and White Counties in Northeast Georgia and Abbeville, Anderson, Cherokee, Greenville, Greenwood, Laurens, Oconee, Pickens, Spartanburg and Union Counties in Upstate South Carolina.
