Anne Cynthia Daphne Clarke Named a VIP Member of Cambridge Who's Who for Excellence in Strategic Consulting

OTTAWA, ON, CANADA, February 10, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Anne Clarke is a Public Policy Practitioner at Clarke & Associates, and has been recognized as a VIP member of Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in strategic planning and consulting.

Ms. Clarke specializes in human rights, refugee and immigration policies, project management, and Caribbean regional development. She traces her interest in governance and political systems from her early years living and growing up in Trinidad. She has follwed this passion through her work as a Researcher and Policy Advisor in the Canadian Parliamentry system accummulating over 20 years of experience. She has gained an expertise in human rights, which she applies in all her work as President of Clarke & Associates. As the policy analyst of program and project management, her clients can expect fairness and equity in all her negotiations with clients in determining their needs whether it is to conduct and facilitate small and large workshops, guiding them in developing and implementing strategies, managing their small or large conferences or conducting research projects.

Her expertise is supported by a Master of Arts in Political Science and a Bachelor of Social Work from Carleton University. Her commitment and dedication to upholding human rights is forshadowed by her past leadership roles as founder and past president of Focus on Black Women, co-facilitator of a Peer Mentorship Program for Immigrant Women hosted by the Ottawa Rape Crisis Centre, and former vice president of the Ottawa-Carleton Immigrant Services Organisation. In recognition of her work, Ms. Clarke was recently named a VIP member of Cambridge Who's Who. This special distinction honours individuals who have shown exceptional commitment to achieving personal and professional success.

Ms. Clarke is a member and board advisor of the Network of Black Business and Professional Women, the Riverside Toastmasters Club, the Institute of Public Administration of Canada, the Royal Commonwealth Society of Canada and The International Black Summit. Her goal is to use her knowledge and experience to work with developing countries and utilize resources to implement change in the coming years.
